Spectacular crash is behind Kirton’s Aaron

BETTER LUCK: Aaron Clarke crashed last time out.
BETTER LUCK: Aaron Clarke crashed last time out.

Following his spectacular crash at Snetterton which featured in the national press, Aaron Clarke is in Scotland for the next round of the National Superstock 600 championship on Sunday.

But for the spill, the Kirton rider would have been looking at a top 20 finish but he caught a clump of grass left on the Tarmac by another rider and went head long over the top of the bike.

Being his first time at Knockhill, Clarke will have to make the most of his time on track in the free practice and qualifying sessions to learn his way around the undulating circuit. But he is a quick learner and will soon be on the pace.

Qualifying sessions are on Friday and Saturday and the 22-lap race is on Sunday at 12.35pm.
