Spalding man (43) in court over 62,000 indecent images

A Spalding man said to have made more than 62,000 indecent images of children has had his case sent for trial.

David Paul Alexander, of Spring Street, is charged with:

  • making 111 still/moving Category A indecent images of a child between December 26, 2015 and July 27, 2016
  • making 136 still moving Category B indecent images of a child between December 26, 2015 and July 27, 2016
  • making 61,919 still/moving Category C indecent images of a child between December 27, 2015 and July 27, 2016

Category A images are the most serious.

The 43-year-old appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on February 22 and did not enter a plea.  His next court date is March 22 at Lincoln Crown Court.

Alexander – also known as David Paul Alexander Kaye – was granted bail with the condition that he is not top have unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16.
