Spalding lights up for Pumpkin Parade

Spalding will come to life on Friday as the Pumpkin Parade comes to town once again.
The ever popular family event will see a host of attractions throughout the day, including live entertainment from local artists, charity market, themed activities and competitions.
Live acts include Diamondz DG, The Bourne Borderers and Zebra.
The day will be rounded off with the parade through the town’s streets, which everyone – in fancy dress and carrying their carved pumpkins – is invited to join.
The parade will be lead by the winner of a fancy dress competition due to be judged at 5.30pm on the main stage on the theme of pumpkins, horticulture and harvest.
They will get to ride the parade route in the magical pumpkin coach.
The finale is a fantastic firework display from the top of the South Holland Centre, which never fails to deliver the wow factor.
There will be a series of road closures during the parade.
