Spalding Indoor Bowls Club’s mixed side keep their winning run alive

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club’s mixed team kept their winning streak in the Lincolnshire League going with a super success over Lincoln A.

They won on three rinks out of five, with an overall score of 107-96.

The best winning rink was Freda Lyon, Derek Green, Gill Needham and Graham Wright.

  • Spalding IBC’s friendly team won their first home fixture of 2016 against Lincoln on Sunday.

At no time were Spalding in trouble and they won on five of the six rinks.

The best winning rink was skipped by Maisie Belding, ably supported by Jenny Collins, Brian Collin and Alan Pitts.

Captain of the day was Vera Elms.

  • Spalding IBC’s ladies won their latest Trudy Bates fixture with a 11-5 points victory at Sleaford.

The best winning rink was Gill Needham, M Belding, M Coleman and F Lyon.
