Spalding Fire Station will host its annual charity fundraiser picnic and open day on Sunday, September 1.
There will be live demonstrations, a barbecue, raffle and games, fire service shop, vintage fire engine, as well as police, LIVES and ambulance services.
A fire station spokesman said: “We will be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity and The Lighthouse Project in Spalding, as our way of giving back to our community.
“The Fire Fighters Charity offers rehabilitation and support to fire service personnel and their families.
“The Lighthouse Project is a charity that builds bridges between young people who have become lost and disconnected from their family, society and their local community.
“This will be an opportunity for everyone to meet their local fire crews and promises to be a day filled with fun!
“Local businesses have been very supportive of our event, and we’d like to give a special mention to George Adams Butchers for donating the meat for our barbecue, Morrisons for donating bread rolls for our barbecue, and Stokes Coffee Lincoln for donating coffee and tea.”
The day runs from 10am to 4pm and entry is free.
