A short appeal for secondhand cuddly toys has been launched.
Donate A Cuddle will run alongside the Give A Gift campaign until Saturday, December 17.
Donate A Cuddle is part of Ella’s Project, which collects and redistributes good quality used clothes for children aged up to five. It aims to help children and families who need support this Christmas.
Any pre-loved cuddly toy, which is clean, in good condition and carries the CE marking would be ideal.
Ella’s Project is named after Spalding youngster Ella Le Sage.
Dad Mark said: “We normally only accept clothes but only until December 17th we will accept donations of good quality cuddly toys to help put a smile on to a child’s face this Christmas.”
The cuddly toys can be donated at the same drop-off points as the Give A Gift appeal – (in Spalding) The Voice reception in Winsover Road, We’ll Let Your House in Broad Street, South Holland District Council in Priory Road, Beales Department Stores in Market Place and Sainsbury’s, plus Sutton Bridge library in The Curlew Centre.
