In Division One of the Spalding Darts League there was a shock win for Drayman’s A who beat league leaders Tigers C 5-4.
This has opened up the title chase again.
Drayman’s started off well, going 2-1 up in the pairs, and they extended the lead with Josh Higgins beating Mark Horspool.
But Tigers fought back to 3-3 with wins from Ant Richardson and Simon Hill.
Richard Cooper and Colin Hatter both then won to make it 4-4.
Captain Kev Newton beat Kev Aldhouse to seal the win.
On the night there were four 180s with Higgins, Newton, Hill and Richardson having one each.
Hill had a 17-dart leg in his win and Newton went one better with a 16-dart leg in his victory.
Consti A beat Lincoln A 8-1, with Chris Fidler hitting a 180 in his pairs game with Kieran Bowman in which they had an 18-dart winning leg.
Jack Chilvers had a 16-dart leg in his victory over Ben Chester.
Rose and Crown beat Ye Old Abbey 7-2 with Ian Lawson slotting in two maximum 180s on the night.
Stan Browning was the sole singles winner for the Abbey.
In Division Two, Pied Calf maintain their 100 per cent record by beating Consti D 6-3.
Consti went 2-1 up but then only won one of the following six singles games.
Wins for the Pied came from Jacob Herd, Stu Page, Steve Rawding, Harry and Paul Faulkner, who had a 115 checkout in an 18-dart leg. Herd had a 103 checkout.
In Division Three, Ship Long Sutton stay top after a tough 5-4 win against Lincoln B.
Lincoln went 2-1 up in the pairs and Vlad Fomkinas and Lesley Chamberlain stretched the lead to 4-1.
But the Ship fought back and won thanks to victories for Travis Stapleton, Jake Hinta Penta, Zach Chapman and Brad Martin.
Green Dragon beat Moulton Harrox 5-4 and this all came down to Adam Rear beating Ryan Munton on last to seal the victory. The Draymans had a mighty 8-1 win against Riverside with Dean Murray hitting an 18-dart leg and eight scores of 100 or more on the night.
