Scarecrows and gardens this weekend

Moulton Garden Crawl and Scarecrow Festival is back in the village this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29).

The Moulton Community Association is organising the event which will run from 12 noon to 5pm.

A spokesman for the group said: “As well as the open gardens around the village there will be scarecrows and yard sales. We will also have a plant stall and craft stalls in the community centre.

“Refreshments, including a barbecue and cream teas, will be available in the village hall, plus a raffle and a bottle tombola.”

Entry for the weekend is £5 per person, with children free.

After paying your money at the stall on the village green you’ll get a programme showing where gardens are open and where to find the scarecrows and home taking part in the yard sale.
