Saturday football: Vase victory for Tigers, league losses for Tulips and Pinchbeck

Depleted Holbeach United enjoyed a 3-2 win in the Buildbase FA Vase on Saturday, but both Spalding United and Pinchbeck United suffered league defeats.

Starting with the Tigers, goals from Danny Setchell, Josh Ford (penalty) and Jonny Lockie fired them to a 3-2 Vase victory over Lincoln Moorlands Railway at Carter’s Park.

Spalding slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home against Market Drayton Town in the BetVictor NPL South East Division, while Pinchbeck slumped to a 2-0 loss at Anstey Nomads in Uhlsport UCL Premier Division.
