Saturday football: Seven-up Holbeach smash Sileby, Pinchbeck go clear with big win at Raunds

Holbeach United ran riot with a 7-1 victory at Northampton Sileby Rangers on Saturday, while Pinchbeck United won 1-0 in their top-of-the-table clash at Raunds Town.

Starting with the Tigers, a hat-trick from Mitch Griffiths inspired them to a huge ChromaSport UCL Premier Division victory at Fernie Fields.

Lewis Leckie (2), George Zuerner and new signing Jacob Fenton – a youth prospect from Lincoln City – also notched for Seb Hayes’ side, who are now fifth in the table ahead of Tuesday night’s derby at Boston Town (7.45pm).

Meanwhile, Pinchbeck moved four points clear at the top of ChromaSport UCL Division One with a fine win at Raunds.

Ollie Maltby’s 43rd-minute goal was all the Knights needed against their second-placed hosts, who had a man sent off.

It’s now ten league wins in their last 11 matches for Ian Dunn’s side.

In the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division, leaders Moulton Harrox cruised to a 6-0 win at Langtoft United to move five points clear.

Holbeach United Reserves continued their fine form with a 5-0 home triumph over Leverington Sports, while Sutton Bridge United were 3-2 home winners over Whittlesey Athletic.

In Division One, champions Moulton Harrox Reserves beat leaders Peterborough Polonia 3-1 to leapfrog them at the top of the table.

Long Sutton Athletic also won 5-0 at Kings Cliffe, while Crowland Town saw off hosts Ramsey Town 5-2 and Tydd St Mary smashed Netherton United Reserves 5-2.
