Safety charity at Spalding’s weekend motorbike show

A local road safety charity is gearing up for this weekend’s Springfields Motorbike Show and aims to help bikers keep safe.

The volunteers from Boston Advanced Motorcyclists (BAM) will be delivering their “Be Better – Be Safe” message to the area’s motorcyclist complete with special show offers including a £50 cashback for those that sign up and then complete the charity’s Advanced Rider test.

Clive Shardlow, BAM chairman said: “2018 has not been a good year on the roads of Lincolnshire.

“Since 2003, the trend had been generally downwards, but in recent years, the figures have been creeping up again, and we are determined to continue to play our part in endeavouring to change this.”
