SADOS prepare for panto and Oklahoma!

Spalding Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (SADOS) are set for a busy winter including preparing for its panto.

Happily Ever After is being staged at St Margaret’s Hall from Thursday to Saturday, December 17 to 19.

A group spokesman said: “Rehearsals are going wonderfully, and the cast are already making each other laugh (which is a good sign, as we are hoping to do the same to you).”

Happily Ever After has laughs for grown-ups, silliness for the children and plenty of fun in between.
It is a lovely way to kick off the Christmas season, whether you bring the grandchildren, your friends or the whole street. Seats are limited, so we would recommend booking early.”

Tickets are available at https://www.seaty.co.uk/happilyeverafter

Preparations are also under way for a production of the musical Oklahoma!

It’s being performed from May 12-15 at Spalding’s South Holland Centre.

The club is looking out for anyone who could help both on and off page.

“You do not need experience, a big voice or years of dance training,” the spokesman continued. “If you enjoy singing, fancy a go at dancing, or simply like the idea of being part of something special, we would love to have you.

“It is a friendly group, a great way to meet people, and you will end up on stage in front of a real audience.

“To find out more or to put your name down, email [email protected] or message us on Facebook or Instagram.”
