Spalding Rotary Club has been busy in the town centre in recent weeks.
Last week, members had a stall on Spalding Market to mark World Polio Day.
The Rotary worldwide has long had an End Polio campaign which raises money to provide immunisation medication to children around the world.
While almost eradicated, polio cases are still being seen in Pakistan and Afghanistan and more recently in a huge increase in Gaza refugee camps.
Apart from raising awareness, a total of £150 was donated on the day.
Rotarian Graham Dawson said: “Our club is proud to be a small, yet very effective part of this international drive to consign polio to history once and for all”
The stall followed the club hosting a hugely popular hook-a-duck stall at the recent Pumpkin Festival.
Its president Sarah Chalcraft said: “Spalding Rotary has been supporting our community since 1937 and intends, with local support, to continue into the future to help many people in need, both locally and internationally.”
