On July 26, men’s captain Ryan Rout organised a return match of the Ryder Cup match against Sutton Bridge GC.
Twenty six players from each team competed, including nine pairs matches and eight singles.
Tydd won 11.5 to 5.5. Tydd have won both matches, home and away over the season.
Tydd seniors’ hosted Feltwell Golf Club with Feltwell winning 4-2. Tydd’s guest of honour on the day was Gary Brown.
- Sutton Bridge Seniors’ travelled to play the seniors of Gedney Hill Golf Club and came away with a 4-2 defeat in very hot conditions. The only winning pairs for Sutton Bridge were Andy Parks and Andy Hyde by 3 and 2 and Colin Fawcett and Ray Jackson by a score of 2up.
