Raising money for Sport Relief

Across South Holland, people have been raising money for Sports Relief.

One of the stars was 10-year-old Peter Bailey who has raised a significant amount for charity thanks to a danceathon and singathon at his school Gosberton House Academy.

In preperation, Peter collected pennies in a jar, all of which he is to give to Sport Relief.

Pupils at Sutton St James Community Primary School really got into the sporting effort by putting on a host of games.

They were given the opportunity of taking on a climbing wall as well as playing curling and boccia, a version of bowls.

The school was still totting up the amount of money they had raised as The Voice went to press.
Sainsbury’s in Spalding also got in the act with staff spending Thursday and Friday cycling the equivalent 603km between Spalding to Land’s End.
