Spalding United will start their life in Step 2 of the non-League pyramid with a trip to Radcliffe on Saturday, August 8.

The Manchester side finished mid-table in National League North last season so will give manager Jimmy Dean’s men a good chance to see what they will be up against in their first season at the higher level.
A week later, the Tulips welcome Oxford City to the Sir Halley Stewart Field, with promotion favourites Macclesfield in town three days later for the first midweek fixture.
Spalding face a tough trip to title favourites South Shields on August Bank Holiday Monday, while the Boxing Day/Easter Monday derby clashes will be against King’s Lynn Town.
The season closes on April 24 with the visit of former Football League side Morecambe.
In their latest warm-up fixture, the Tulips emerged 3-1 victors against Boston Town.
Jack Roberts opened the scoring from a penalty after being fouled and Yusifu Ceesay made it 2-0 at the break before Ben Fowkes put the hosts three ahead.
The next friendly is again at home, when Dean’s former side Scunthorpe United visit.
Dean said after seeing his team beat Boston: “We wanted to progress and I think we got that. We probably wanted a few more goals and should have got them.
“It was a soft turnover for their goal but we did well apart from that.”
The Tulips were without both their centre forwards with Saleem Akanbi in hospital for tests, while Bart Cybulski was rested after picking up a knock in the opening friendly against Rushden.
