Spalding is set to head into autumn with the annual pumpkin festival back on Saturday, October 3.
A host of attractions are planned in Spalding town centre from 11am to 3pm.
Returning this year will be Jonathan Nicholls with his incredible pumpkin sculptures.
Visitors aged over 13 can show off their own carving skills with a pumpkin decorating competition being judged at 1.30pm at Hall Place.
There will also be the opportunity to create your own pumpkin-themed crafts with Transported Arts, as well as balloon modelling from Lincs66 and biscuit decorating with Cook Stars.
A Harvest Fancy Dress competition will be judged in Hall Place at 12.30pm while Sheep Market will have seasonal stalls and events alongside the usual Saturday market.
Businesses are being urged to take part in the Pumpkin Festival Window Display competition. This year it’s being run by the Spalding Business Improvement District.
Manager Sarah Fletcher said: “We are encouraging businesses in the town centre to get involved to help make the town feel really festive and attractive throughout October.
“Any business interested in entering need to email [email protected] or calling Rachel on 07386 446232 by September 25, their window display needs to be ready for judging by October 2.
“Competition entries will be judged against large, medium and small window displays with winners and ‘highly commended’ awards. We are also going to have a people’s choice award, inviting local people to tell us which window they like the best.”
