Plenty of good feline at show

Paws what you are doing – the 3rd International Cat Show is coming to Spalding.

Springfields Conference Centre is hosting the event from Ticats and Cakes Cat Club on Saturday and Sunday January 13 and 14 2024.
It has the sub-heading of ‘Tea, Cakes & Snowflakes’.
A spokesman said: “The crazy world of cat showing come to Spalding, as we host our third International Cat Show, at Springfields Events Centre.
“In addition to the world class judges, we will have a Meet The Breeds area, where visitors can get up close and personal with as many breeds as possible – from the naked Sphynx to the World’s biggest cat, the majestic Maine Coon and everything in between.
“But, it doesn’t end there – how about a cat agility course!
“You’ve seen the dogs at Crufts going through the weave, over the jump and through the tunnel, let’s see if we can get cats to do the same.
“If nothing else, it’s going to be hilarious seeing if owners can convince their cats to do anything.”
The show is being sponsored by Rookes Pet Products, ProtectaPet, Kittilitt, JK Veterinary & Dr Elsey.
You can enter your cat but you have to do so by December 31, 2023 at https://ticatsandcakes.org.uk/
Entry to the show from 10am to 4pm each day is £5 adults and £3 for OAPs.
Animal rescue charity Lincs Ark Cat Rescue, South Lincs: Lincs Ark will be benefiting from the show.
