Please keep on giving

People have been incredibly generous in supporting our Give A Gift appeal this year.

We have already received many gifts but we still need more presents.

Launched by Coun Harry Drury, the appeal makes a huge difference to struggling families across South Holland and Boston, ensuring children who wouldn’t get a present have something to open on Christmas Day.

The appeal closes at 5pm on Monday, December 13 and we ask you please not to giftwrap your present to allow it to be assessed for age and gender so it is given to a suitable child.

All presents will go to South Holland and Boston Child Services to distribute in time for Christmas.

Our collection points this year are The Spalding and South Holland Voice; DGG Property Consultants; Spalding Fire Station (go to the reception door or leave gifts in the porch); Courtyard Footcare, Health and Beauty, and Sainsbury’s.

Voice staff (back from left) Claire Sharpe, Sarah Taylor-Booth, Richard Rush, Donna Semmens and (front) editor Rachel Mayfield with the gifts donated so far.
