Pinchbeck United win decider to clinch third Spalding Sunday League title on trot

All-conquering Pinchbeck United Sunday made it three Spalding Sunday League titles on the spin by beating nearest rivals Swineshead Institute 4-0 in a double-header over the weekend.

A double from player/boss Josh Ford plus strikes from Adam Jackson and Ricky Drury got the job done for Pinchbeck, who picked up six points for the victory.

They end up as seemingly clear champions with a nine-point cushion and an unbeaten record – but a win for Swineshead would have seen them crowned as league champions.
