Pinchbeck United strike new sponsorship deal with Bakkavor

Pinchbeck United have been boosted by sponsorship from food producer Bakkavor.

The Knights were joined by Bakkavor’s Andy Tomlinson ahead of last Friday night’s 3-0 friendly win over Bourne Town at Knight Street and he handed over a cheque to club chairman Gary Coomes.

Pinchbeck have said a “big thank you” for the kind sponsorship, which will include having the company name on their away kit.

Bakkavor’s official Twitter account (@Bakkavor) posted: “Supporting our local communities is at the heart of what we do. Sending Pinchbeck United all the best with their next season.”

The Knights have suffered a double transfer blow with striker Alex Beck and versatile midfielder Chris Shipley opting to sign for Boston Town.

But Pinchbeck have moved to seal a return for right back James Gordon.

They take on Horncastle Town at Knight Street on Friday (7pm).
