Pinchbeck United climbed to the top of ChromaSport UCL Division One with a 3-0 win at Oakham United on Wednesday night.
Top scorer Ollie Maltby headed the Knights ahead on four minutes from a James Gordon cross, before Andrew Tidswell nodded in a second from Ash Murrell’s delivering on 28 minutes.
That’s how it stayed up until the final minute, with Maltby bagging his second of the game and 18th of the season.
Pinchbeck, who are now one point ahead of second-placed Raunds Town, have no game this weekend.
