Pinchbeck CC beat Belton Park

Pinchbeck ground out a two wicket victory over Belton Park in South Lincs and Border Division Two.

Belton’s 129 all out saw opener Adrian Sleaford carry his bat for 69 not out while the next eight batsmen scored five runs between them.

Mike Knight (4-32), Andrew Beeston (3-17) and James Langford (3-30) were the wicket takers.

Pinchbeck too found batting difficult but number three Mark Ramsden provided a vital 42.

Despite losing regular wickets they were guided home to the win by Glen Hammond (16 not out) finishing on 133-8 to go second in the table.
