Perfect start for Drayman’s in Division Two of the darts

In Division 2 of the Spalding Darts League Drayman’s B maintain their 100 per cent record and sit pretty at the top of the league.
Drayman’s beat Rose and Crown B 7-2, with Pete Griggs and Art Porter getting the wins for the losing team.
On the night captain Ian McCreery had a maximum 180 and Richard Arnold hit a fine 112 check out.
Consti D kept up their fight for promotion with a 7-2 win against Draymans C.
Andy Taylor hit two maximum 180s in his game against Green Dragon A for the Riverside, however he was unlucky and still lost the game to Kris Colwell.
Other singles winners for Dragon were Mick Holstead, Kieran Grove and Callum Templeman.
Holbeach Services A beat the Ship 7-2 and the sole singles winner for the Ship was Zach Chapman against Stu Stephens.
In Division 1 there was a bottom of the table clash which Royal Mail Cart came out on top beating Consti E 7-2.
Mail Cart started the night well winning two of the three pairs in which captain Josh Faulkner hit a maximum 180.
Singles wins for Stu Page, Jacob Herd, Josh Faulkner, Harry Faulkner, and Paul Faulkner was enough for the win and puts Consti E bottom of the table.
The only other game in Division 1 was a close 5-4 win for Rose and Crown A against Ye Olde Abbey.
Rose and Crown went into a 2-1 lead and then Tyger Atkin won his singles game to put them 3-1 up.
However, Abbey fought back, and JJ Bird and Scott Lawrence won to level the game 3-3.
Dan Carnell and Ian Lawson then won their games to seal the points for Rose and Crown.
Stan Browning went on last for Abbey and hit a 119 check out in an 18-dart leg in his victory over Adam Godfrey,
In Division 3 Draymans D won 7-2 against Mulberrys to remain top of the league.
Chris Page and Shane Thorpe got the two wins for Mulberrys.
Game of the night was Dan Mills, who beat Wigs Harrison 2-1, hitting a maximum 180 and the two players hit nine scores of 100 or more between them.
Moulton Harrox beat Pied Calf 5-4 in tight match. Pied started off the better of the two teams and went 2-1 up in the pairs.
But wins for Dan Wright, Ian Stephenson and Tony Vickovic in the next four games put Harrox 4-3 up.
Mark Bright then won for the Pied 2-0 to set up a last game shoot out.
Jack Haunch held his nerve the best and won to seal the points for Harrox.
The final game of Division 3 was a win for Holbeach Services B who beat Lincoln 5-4.
Lincoln started off the best and went 2-1 up after the pairs but wins for Michael Baker and Chloe Wicks put Holbeach 3-2 up.
Ian Tilley and Vlad Fomkinas won their games for Lincoln putting them 4-3 up with two games to go.
But Holbeach won the next two games thanks to Jamie McHugh and Chris O’Leary to seal the win for Holbeach.
