Exhibition raises charity cash

A darts exhibition has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Held at Spalding Services Club on October 25 in aid of Prostate Cancer, the event was organised by local darts legend Ian Tilley who was mc for the night.
Showing off their skills on the night were ten-times Lakeside world champion Trina Gulliver and three-times Lakeside world champion Martin (Wolfie) Adams to play 20 local players.
Thre were six lucky ticket numbers for locals to have a chance to play on the night.
Two players went on to win – a youth player called Connor Mackenzie and Steve Stancer from the Lincoln Arms, who both beat Gulliver.
Tilley said: “We had a very well supported raffle on the night which helped raise funds and an auction of the dartboard, pictures etc. We raised a brilliant total of £1,041.
“I would like to thank everybody who supported the night which also includes our sponsors on the night.”
Players were presented with a medal to commemorate the evening.
