PDFL round-up: Six-goal derby thriller as Sports and Sutton play in front of big crowd

There were goals galore in Division Two of the ChromaSport PDFL last Wednesday night as two South Holland sides slugged it out.

Holbeach United Sports and Long Sutton Reserves drew 3-3 in a clash played in front of a bumper crowd of 112 at Carter’s Park.

Bradleigh Appleby and Dominic Ford were among the goals for Sports, who had Tigers legend Jamie Stevens in their starting line-up.

Saturday’s PDFL action, meanwhile, was very limited with just one South Holland side in action.

That game came in Division Three, where Tydd Reserves ended their 2021 fixtures with a 2-2 home draw against Dreams.

Martin Danko and Sam Duffy netted to peg hosts Tydd back as they finish the year in seventh place.
