Pavanotti performance for those affected by flooding

An operatic tribute act is putting on a special concert this weekend to raise funds for those affected by flooding in Wales.

Jeff Woods, aka Pavanotti, from Pinchbeck will be performing in Caffe Aurora, Holbeach on from noon on Saturday (February 22) to raise funds for those affected by the dreadful flooding in the Rhondda Valley where Jeff lived for a while.

He said: “I realise the Rhondda is a long way from us here in South Holland but I lived there for 12 years and made friends who have been devastated by the floods.

“I’m hoping to raise a few bob and give a little help.

“As well as being consistently voted best restaurant in this area the owners of Caffe Aurora, Cormac and Sophie O’Hara, are great supporters of good causes and I’m delighted to be singing there once again.

“I hope people will come along and enjoy great food and drink, enjoyable entertainment and give a little bit to help others.”
