One seriously injured after four vehicle collision near Long Sutton

A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a four car collision which closed a road near Long Sutton this morning (Tuesday, February 25).

The incident occurred around 5.38am on Wisbech Road and involved a grey Ford Focus, a black Toyota, a black Volkswagen Golf and a white Citroen.

Fire crews from Spalding and Long Sutton were called to help police and ambulance with the scene.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The driver of the Focus was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road has been re-opened.”
