On board with water taxi

Spalding Water Taxi is set to go at Lightspeed this summer.

Lightspeed Broadband has announced it is to sponsor the attraction that provides trips on the area’s waterways.

Providing a 40-minute leisurely cruise for shoppers and visitors wanting to take in the sights of the market town, the water taxi will be running every day 10am-5pm throughout the summer.

Anthony Grunwell, Spalding Water Taxi Operations Manager said: “I am thrilled to have Lightspeed on board supporting the water taxi along with other companies and South Holland District Council.

“This is very much a facility for the community, both local and wider, and the support of local companies really shows the spirt of the venture.”

Carmé Mandzij, sales and community engagement lead for Lightspeed Broadband, said: “The water taxi is such a unique and great service for Spalding, one which we’re delighted to support.”
