A goal from Jordan Oldham earned Holbeach United a point with a 1-1 draw at Dussindale Rovers in Division One North of the Eastern Counties League.
It followed a battling, but ultimately disappointing, midweek match at home to Whittlesey Athletic.
Wednesday’s match saw the visitors lead 2-0 at the break but the Tigers hit back to pull level thanks to goals from Rabab Ali and Flynn Hyde.
However, hopes of victory were dashed when Whittlesey struck twice more to complete a 4-2 win.
Holbeach are back in home action on Saturday and are offering early fans free food and drink.
The first 150 people through the gates for the meeting with Needham Market Reserves, 3pm, will receive a free pint and pie.
