A new group has been launched to put on events around Holbeach.
Holbeach Community First recently held its first meeting and is being headed by Stephen Johnson.
A spokesman said: “Holbeach Community First is a new group that’s formed to provide events and community initiatives in Holbeach and the surrounding villages for the benefit of the local communities.
“Stephen Johnson is heading up the group, with help from prominent members of the community. We just had our first meeting, which was very positive, and we’ve begun to organise some exciting events for next year.
“We are keen to work with groups and individuals on new events as well as promote and grow existing ones. We want to build on the incredible efforts of other groups and organisations to showcase Holbeach, the neighbouring villages, and our communities.
