Bas Boots are made for talking

The next lecture in the SGS Winter programme will be presented by Dr Bas Boots, who is a senior lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University.

The subject is Soil and Dr Boots will talk about his exploration into the links between ecosystem functioning and microbes in a wide variety of habitats is interdisciplinary: merging ecology, microbiology, environmental science and biochemistry.
Spalding Gentlemen’s Society lectures are held at Broad Street Methodist Church, Spalding and start at 7.30pm with an admission charge of £5 each at the door.
A spokesman for the society said: “All are welcome.”
