New dispenser just for the ducks

The resident ducks in Holbeach can now enjoy special food dispensed from their own feeder.

The team at WR Groundworks installed the dispenser for free at the Fishpond Nature Reserve.
Visitors can now buy the pellets using a contactless payment system and feed the resident waddle.
The ducks seem to be enjoying the new facility and are already keeping a close eye on the dispenser.
Holbeach Parish Council hope the move will also deter people from feeding the ducks bread, which is generally not recommended for them.
The machine will accept card payments of £1.50, and contains no cash at all.
There was no cost to the council which says ten per cent of profits will go towards funding environmental projects.
