South Holland MP Sir John Hayes has launched a ‘Dementia Directory’ and he’s urging organisations that may benefit from being in it to come forward.
He is aiming to create a comprehensive guide to the services, activities, and support available in the district to help direct individuals and families affected by dementia to get the assistance they need.
Sir John said: “I know there are so many wonderful groups in our area that help those suffering from dementia, and that some of them go under the radar, so I want to ensure their work is recognised so that other sufferers can be made aware of the support they provide.”
