Respected Spalding and District Table Tennis League chairman Jean White has added another top trophy to her cabinet.
White has just returned home from competing in the European Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Sweden, where she lifted the ladies’ doubles title.
Teaming with Betty Bird at the Helsingborg event, White once again got her hands on the top prize – having previously won the same title back in 2011.
The evergreen White also won a bronze medal in the same event at the World Veterans Championships in Spain back in 2016.
With age merely a number for the South Holland sporting legend, there is no reason why she won’t be competing for more honours over the next 12 months.
