Last Friday night delivered one of the standout social evenings of the Pinchbeck and District Darts season as the mixed pairs competition took centre stage at Spalding Services Club.
Through to the mixed pairs final are Si Hill and Claire Brookin, of Lincoln Arms A, who booked their place with a strong semi-final win over Ady Smith and Sharon Barnard, of Services Club B.
Joining them are Claire’s daughter Lacie Brookin and partner Ash Allen, of the Royal Mail Cart, after they overcame the mother and son pairing of Tracey and Jordan Philpott, of Consti Club C.
The Captains’ Cup final will be contested between Steve Stancer (Lincoln Arms A) and Paul Faulkner (Consti Club C).
Stancer reached the final with victories over Mick Atkin (Consti Club Z) and Tom Elderkin (Pinchbeck FC B).
Faulkner secured his place with wins against Tony Brown (Lincoln Arms C), Matt Broderick (Consti Club B) and Steve Rawding (Services Club B).
There was further success for Lacie Brookin, who reached her second final of the night in the ladies’ competition.
Wins over Chloe Spinks and Eva Spinks (both Lincoln Arms D) and Emma Tickner (Pinchbeck FC C) saw her through.
She will meet Barnard in the final, who claimed victories over Athena Overton (Green Dragon Z) and Sarah O’Driscoll (Services Club A).
