Millar enjoys a Sewell success

A gross score of 166 over two rounds saw Shane Millar emerge triumphant in the Sewell Salver at Tydd St Giles Golf Club.

The Ciuffini Shield, played over the same two-round 36-hole competition, was won by Luke Stanford, with a net score of 141.
Millar shot 81 and 85 to finish ahead of Andy Hicks, 81+86=167, and Luke Rowell, 88+81=169.
Stanford’s rounds of 77 and 64 put him ahead of Jonathan Housley-Stott, 71+70=141, and Andy Hicks 70+75=145.
Seniors Monthly Medal, Division One: 1 Mick Vassall 74-11=63, 2 Graeme Barritte 85-15=70ocb, 3 Peter Williams 85-15=70.
Division Two: 1 Jonathan Schultz 89-18=71, 2 Derrick Marsh 90-18=72ocb, 3 Paul Milward 93-21=72.
