Man faces charges of inciting sexual activity with child

A Spalding man has been sent for trial at crown court on allegations of attempted incitement of a child to engage in sexual activity.

David Gary William Maltby, 21, of Redthorne Close, faces four allegations – that between June 5 and 19, he attempted to engage in sexual communications with a child he believed to be 14 years old; two charges that on June 11, he attempted to incite a child he believed to be aged 14 to engage in sexual activity and on June 18, he attempted to cause a child he believed to be aged 14 to watch a sexual act by sending her a pornographic image.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on December 4.
