Man denies sexual assault charges

A Spalding man denied 17 sexual charges when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

Mohamed Alam, 40, of St Thomas Road, Spalding, pleaded not guilty to six charges of sexual assault on a female between October 2020 and September 2022.

He also denied two charges of causing a female person to engage in sexual activity without consent between October 2020 and September 2022.

Mr Alam also pleaded not guilty to four charges of sexual assault on a female between July 2021 and August 2022 and three other charges of sexual assault on a female between February 2022 and May 2022.

Mr Alam also denied one charge of sexual assault on a female between February 2022 and September 2022 and a single charge of exposure in September 2022.

Recorder Graham Huston adjourned the case for a trial beginning at Lincoln Crown Court on December 8, 2025. 

The trial is expected to last up to nine days. 

Mr Alam will also have to appear at Lincoln Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on May 12, 2025.

Recorder Huston granted Mr Alam unconditional bail until his next court appearance.
