A former Spalding resident has been issued with a restraining order to prevent him returning to his old home street even though he has since moved out of the area.
Ashley Callaby, 27, who now lives in Ripley in Derbyshire but was living in Rowan Avenue at the time, admitted through his solicitor to threatening behaviour and causing damage to a gate while living at his former address.
Callaby was unable to attend court as he was in quarantine for Covid 19.
Prosecuting, Daniel Pietryka said there had been a verbal dispute between Callaby and a neighbour in Rowan Avenue on July 8 during which he threatened the neighbour, calling him to come outside and that he would knock him out.
He said Callaby was also seen to kick and damage a garden gate.
Mitigating, Justin Atkinson said that although threats had been made, they were not carried out and he had now moved away to Ripley in Derbyshire.
Callaby was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation for the gate and £119 in court costs and charges.
A restraining order was granted for a year to order him not to enter Rowan Avenue and not to contact his former neighbour.
