Man assaulted two police officers

A man has been placed under curfew and given a suspended jail sentence after assaulting two police officers.

Henrikas Lenderskis of Willesby Road, Spalding pleaded guilty to the assaults which took place in the town on November 22.

He also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and of damaging a police prisoner van on the same date.

Taking into account the guilty plea, magistrates at Lincoln gave Lenderskis a four month jail sentence to be suspended for 12 months.

He was also placed under supervision and electronically tagged until March 22, 2021 and only allowed to leave the house between 9am and 6pm.

Lenderskis was ordered to pay £150 compensation to each officer that was assaulted.

He was also told to pay £185 costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
