Man arrested after alleged thefts, frauds and assaulting shop workers

A Spalding man has been arrested and charged on numerous counts of thefts and frauds, as well as two alleged assaults on shop worker.

Shane Cooper of Landsdowne Court was arrested on Sunday, August 29 and faces charges on multiple offences, including two reported assaults on shop workers, five reported shop thefts and fraud which has been linked to reports of suspicious behaviour and interference of property doors and vehicles.

Lincolnshire Police say he has been remanded into prison.

A spokesman for the force said: “We thank our community for all their support with the information provided to date.

“These instances will continue to be investigated while he remains in prison.
