A man involved in a crash on the A16 Spalding bypass has admitted having cocaine worth up to £100,000 in the car.

Prosecutor Paul Brown said of the crash: “Police have been called out to attend.
“They retrieved from the defendant, who was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, a holdall containing large Mason jars with white matter in and broken Mason jars.“
“There was also a box with an amount of cash.”
The court was told that the cocaine weighed about 1kg and was worth between £40,000 and £100,000.
Mr Brown added: “A phone has been seized and that’s contained messages consistent with the user being involved in the supply of drugs prior to the collision.”

Solicitor Kashif Khan, for the defendant, agreed that the case should be sent up to the crown court for sentencing.
