Magnificent seven wins on spin for Pinchbeck Sunday

Seemingly unstoppable Spalding Sunday League leaders Pinchbeck United Sunday made it seven wins from as many games by beating Punchbowl Panthers 4-2.

The league’s leading scorer Josh Ford bagged two for Pinchbeck, with Aidan Moore and Luke Wilson also on target for Tom Roberts’ side on Sunday.

Ash and Ryan Coddington grabbed the Punchbowl goals.

Swineshead Institute Sunday are second, three points back, after beating Sutton Bridge Sunday 7-1. Joe Sutton grabbed Bridge’s consolation in a game that saw Ben English sent off.

In-form Jubilee were also big winners as they dispatched Spalding Seas End Wanderers 5-1 at the Castle. Leigh Boekestyn (2), Edgaras Buzas, Jamie Cartlidge and Danny Nichols bagged for Paul Rudkin’s side – and they even had Simon Webb sent off. Troy Lonslow got the consolation for Wanderers.

Also big winners were Brennans, who crushed hosts Punchbowl Tigers 7-2. Scott Burrell (2), Tom Cherry, Josh Faulkner, Sean Jeynes, Billy King and Mark Sampson got the goals.
