Long Sutton’s blooming great

East Midlands in Bloom judges, Stephen Dando and Marian McClelland visited Long Sutton last week.

The town takes part in the Small Town category of the contest and is the only South Holland town representative this year.

The judges were met at the Royal British Legion by members of Long Sutton In Bloom which organises the displays. They were taken on a tour by Barry Meade and chair Kay Jenkinson followed by afternoon tea.

Kay said: “They were very charming, made complimentary comments – fingers crossed for some good results at the Awards.”
