Long Sutton U3A are back on target

Long Sutton’s University of the Third Age group (U3A) was on target with its reopening last week.

The group held its first sessions back recently and held an archery tournament for members.

A spokesman for the group said: “We’re looking to restart as many of our 30 plus interest groups including archery, table tennis, computer skills, line dancing, bird watching and, hopefully shortly, theatre trips.

“With so many different interest groups to chose from there is something for everyone.

“We are now looking for new members who want to live, learn, laugh and have some fun.

“All are welcome, to come along and try archery. Your first visit is free and we meet behind the Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge on the first and third Tuesday of the month 10am to 12am. Bows and arrows are provided, but bring your own apple.”
