Rare Productions are putting on Annie with a local cast that’s set to down a storm for three days of shows.
A team of 18 to 21-year -olds will be telling the tell of little orphan Annie and her determination to find the parents who abandoned her in 1930s New York.
Shows are at 7.30pm tonight (Thursday), tomorrow and at 2.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday.
A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “This all-time classic musical is a must for all the family, with a great sound track and fabulous acting parts.
“With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City.
“She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.
“Rare Theatre is the largest youth theatre group in the UK.
“They provide young people with opportunities to take part in professionally-led productions at UK theatres. Annie will be their second production at the South Holland Centre.”
