Live music raises cash at pub event

Live music, karaoke and barbecue kept the crowds entertained – and fed – at a charity music day at The Black Bull pub in Holbeach.

The event was held in aid of Make-A-Wish UK, a charity that fulfils the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses.

As well as music, there was also a face painter and a raffle.

Performers all gave their time free of charge and raffle prizes were donated by customers and local businesses.

Richard Harris, of the pub, said: “The weather was on our side and a really enjoyable day was had by all, unfortunately numbers were a little lower than last year, due to other events in the area on the same day.”
