The Spalding Lions sponsored swim at the Castle Sports Complex Pool has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Elaine Mothers from Spalding lions said she was still awaiting some forms but so far the total raised is around £1,500.
Elaine said around 45 people took part, adding: “This is an annual event we run which gives individuals, clubs and groups the chance to raise funds for the charity or their choice with 50 per cent going to them and 50 per cent to Lions.”
The event is open to all and welcomes new people to take part each year,” Elaine said.
“We do like to encourage anyone to take part and use this sponsored swim to raise money for their own good causes,” she added.
