Lincoln Arms open up a 17-point lead in title race

Division A leaders Lincoln Arms A look to be cruising to the Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck & District Winter Darts League title after moving 17 points clear with a 7-2 win at Consti Club C.

Paul Faulkner was the sole singles winner for Consti, beating Steve Gaughan and, with partner Jacob Herd in the pairs, winning 2-1. Both players hit a 180 and got a 17-dart leg. There were checkouts of 102 for Karl Rolfe and 124 for John Charlton for the Lincoln side. Harry Faulkner had a 180 for the Consti.
Services Club B moved back into second place with a 6-3 win at Green Dragon A. After losing the first two pairs, they dropped only one more game, with Jon Goor beating Tony Clark in the singles. Ady Smith had a 111 finish for Services.
Pinchbeck FC A put in their performance of the season, beating Lincoln Arms D 8-1 at home. Tony Spinks got the only point for Lincoln, beating Liam Dawson 2-0.
Consti Club B won 6-3 at Royal Mail Cart. After a seven-year wait of Friday nights, Matt Broderick registered his first 180 for Consti. Connor Hughes hit a 112 finish for Consti and Leon Cart notched a 180 for Mail Cart.
The top two teams in Division B were on form with both winning 9-0. Consti Club Z, away at their A team counterparts, only dropped three legs. Calum Ward had a 100 finish and a 17-dart leg with partner Brandon Elderkin in the pairs. Rob Green had an 18-dart leg.
Green Dragon Z registered the same scoreline at Drayman’s Arms A, losing just four legs.
Services Club A had a welcome 7-2 home success against bottom side Green Dragon C and Pinchbeck FC B had a comfortable 6-3 win at the Lincoln Arms C.
Kirton Leisure were awarded a 6-0 walkover against Consti Club D, keeping them in third place.
